One of the most important aspects of being a Golden Harvest agronomist is working with both sales representatives and customers to meet farmer needs. Golden Harvest Agronomist Jamie Kathol’s favorite way to meet his farmers’ needs is by finding ways to maximize their production, no matter their management style.
Having boots on the ground is a big part of Jamie’s approach to supporting farmers in northeast Nebraska. Being able to walk through a farmer’s fields with them, visually showing the progression of their crops, is how he creates a strong relationship with mutual understanding.
With a passion for high yield corn and soybean management, farmers can look to Jamie to see a potential return on investment in their operations. Jamie’s degree in mechanized systems management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln also gives him an edge in technological problem-solving, allowing him to assist farmers in the technical support of machinery and equipment, from tractors to combines. When he’s not providing agronomy service to Nebraska farmers, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and watching basketball.
